[parastish=worship]

[ahabaab=dear ones, friends (plural of habiib); numaaish=display, exhibit]

  1. It was a nice ghazal and I should thank Sush for posting the lyrics which makes it more meaningful. I remember a recent road trip where we did discuss the significance of lyrics of a ghazal and today I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. I would definetly encourage Sush to update the lists for us. Good jog , keep it up.

  3. Believe me I listened to this ghazal twice. I have never been a big fan of ghazals or Jagjit Singh ever. Listening to this, I felt I should have given ghazals a chance they very much deserve. It definitely churned some philosophical juices in me and with the lyrics posted made me to appreciate the depth of the ghazal all the more. Keep them coming Sushant. Music brings you alive and gives a meaning to your life.

  5. Listening to Jagjit was like meeting a lost love. Though I am able to appreciate beauty in the lyrics and soulfully experience the music.. I am not able to fully understand the mood / message the poet is trying to create / convey. As it is said 'truth is always hidden deep beneath', guess I need to churn myself more to get there... thanks for posting this... look forward to see your next post...
